  • July 2015 – Smiths referred to Bury’s Secondary PRU

    Works commenced at Bury Secondary PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) in early June 2015. The £1.5m project is to include the internal reconfiguration and refurbishment of the derelict former young offender’s school. The extension is built and internal refurbishment works are well underway with completion due in November 2015.

  • December 2014 – Another Stockport College project handed over

    We are delighted to announce the successful completion of H.H. Smith’s fourth job for Stockport College in the last 2 years totalling in excess of £3.75mill. The project required the replacement of 350 bespoke aluminium windows in the Roland Hadlow tower block. Throughout only 2 classrooms on a rolling basis were ever unavailable for teaching.

    Work has started on site at St. Andrew’s Primary School, Levenshulme, where H.H. Smith’s are constructing a new build two storey 6 classroom block, in conjunction with two smaller extensions.
