EDUCATION WORKS PROJECTS

The specialist education sector currently represents a significant proportion of H.H. Smith & Sons Co. Ltd. work over the past 30 years. We have successfully completed major contracts for over 20 local authorities and negotiated contracts directly with a number of education establishments. Our experience in this field has led to numerous additional phases on the same site which in itself is a testimony to our performance and client relations.

Our expertise includes the following – nurseries, sure-start centres, primary and secondary schools, 6th form colleges & universities.

Project values have ranged from £50k to £9 million, from basic classroom refurbishments to the remodelling of entire school sites. This has included several sports halls and associated facilities, catering units, science laboratories and I.T suites.

Because of our commitment to the health, safety and welfare of the pupils / students, H.H. Smith & Sons Co. Ltd. is fully committed to the safeguarding of children. As a result, DBS, (Disclosure & Barring Services) checks have been carried out on all our employees.
