  • December 2016 – From car show room to Vets Now 24/7 Veterinary.

    H.H. Smith were awarded the £1.2m contract to transform an existing Mercedes garage into a working Vets Now Hospital.   • May 2016 – Gorton Monastery is making some real progress!

    Hidding the building site behind an extensive building wrap, provides a visual aspect to protect the aesthetics for the many users of the Monastery. Weddings and events  continue to operate throughout the summer season. The structural frame of the new welcome wing is now in place and shows real progress beginning to take shape!

  • February 2016 – H.H. Smith to Build Welcome Wing at Gorton Monastery

    Building and restoration works have recently started on this highly prized historic building. The £3m works will see an eco-friendly ‘Welcome Wing’ built on the front of the 150-year old building on the footprint of an original building which was demolished in the 1960’s. The works are expected to be completed in February 2017.
